So i am reading this book by Rick Warren called "Purpose Driven Life,,What on Earth am i here for.." im still reading it and so far i have gone through 6 Chapters and i must say it is Powerful..I have realised that most of the time i have spent my time focusing on what i want done in my life and not on what God wants to do in my life since he is the creator and has a purpose for my being here on earth...i have based my life, decisions, choices on selfish reason rather on God's intentions for my life, i have used the gifts, talents etc i was given the my mighty creator for my own benefit, praise, attention forgetting that i had to use these for his glory, praise and fame. Indeed God does have plans that are meant for us to prosper and not harm us as it is written in his word..Even what the enemy intends for evil, God uses it for good.
Just like what happened to Joseph when his brothers sold him to the Egyptians, God sent him right ahead to Egypt to prepare for the famine that was yet to occur so that his family would have grain and not starve to death and to me that clearly shows that no matter what happens in our lives it is for a reason and a good reason, all we have to do is to trust in God, to surrender it all to him, to let him use us for his glory, for his praise, so that others can see his power through us. Someone may wonder then why do we go through all the trouble and pain when God's plans are not meant to harm us, i will say that when we go through the storms and the rain, God will be preparing us for the best and preventing us from the worst, so again everything happens for a good reason and instead of questioning God's plans, it is better to be grateful and just say thank you  Lord..
